musical journey at a young age and has since dedicated himself to the pursuit and presentation of
this exalted art form through the saxophone.
A devoted disciple of the illustrious Akkarai Sisters — Vidushi Akkarai Subhalakshmi and Vidushi
Akkarai Sornalatha — Shishir continues to refine his artistry under their esteemed guidance. He was
further privileged to receive the blessings and mentorship of the legendary Padma Shri Dr. Kadri
Gopalnath, whose influence has indelibly shaped his musical vision and technical mastery.
Renowned for his soulful and introspective renditions, refined manodharma, and unwavering adherence

lectures at distinguished institutions.
Alongside his distinguished musical career, he is pursuing legal studies at Boston College Law
